CHAS - Contractor Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

Over the year’s local authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, have developed the Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS). The scheme is available for use by any public and private sector organizations to use when short listing contractors, suppliers and consultants (companies) who apply to work for them. It provides information about the health and safety part of their application.

A CHAS application can appear to be a lot of work for a small return, but that is only if you do not realise what it can do for your company and its order records!

At CJT Services Ltd we provide a service which takes all time and stress a CHAS application can bring, yet still get you the accreditation.
